1. Canada Day in Ajax

There will be a variety of activities including cultural performances, children’s games and activities, interactive experiences, 2 stages of live entertainment, community displays and exhibitors, a sensory zone, food vendors, a beer garden and a special fireworks finale at 10 p.m.

2. Canada Day in Beaverton

This local celebration is produced as a community partnership with The Lions Club of Beaverton, local businesses and service groups, bringing multi-generational and family-friendly activities throughout the day and evening, sure to entertain festival goers all day long. Start the day with a pancake breakfast at the Fire Hall and windup at dusk with a spectacular fireworks display at the fairgrounds.

Annual Cannington Canada Day Festival. Includes – Rides and inflatables, Kids activities, Mini escape room at Haunted Trail, BBQ and Concession, Beer Tent and Area’s Best Fireworks.

9. Canada Day in Scugog

Enjoy a variety of food and artisan vendors, have a taste of Old Flame Brewing Co.’s award-winning beverages, watch stunning antique and modern corvettes cruise down Queen St. for the Support Our Troops parade, and more.The night ends with the best firework show in Durham Region, displayed over Lake Scugog. You will not want to miss out as Scugog celebrates Canada Day in Palmer Park!

11. Canada Day in Whitby

Starting at 6:30 p.m. grab your picnic spot and take some pictures at the photo opportunities around the park. Enjoy music from The Doozies, Jack De Keyzer and more! End the night with an amazing fireworks show along the waterfront.
