(If using a real pumpkin, remove all pulp and seeds from the inside with a large metal spoon.) Paint mini pumpkins with 2 coats of black spray paint and let dry completely. Add rhinestones for eyes, embroidery thread whiskers and pom pom noses with hot glue. Cut out cat ears from velour paper and glue each to a toothpick. Stick toothpicks into the top of the pumpkins. Fill large pumpkin with crumbled newspaper and nestle kitten pumpkins on top. Fill water tubes with water and freshly cut flowers and place in the pumpkin. Refresh water every other day. |
